What Is Discipling?

Discipleship is more than classroom instruction or Bible education. Discipling means modeling what a passionate, warrior-like Christian is to be: living the Christian life in front of others so they can follow as we follow Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1).

What We Mean by Warrior

Warrior does not refer to physical aggression. It describes believers who are spiritually prepared, passionate, courageous, prayerful, obedient, and willing to move beyond passive Christianity into active Kingdom ministry. They are trained to go out and minister wherever God sends them.

His Place is blessed with a foundation of mature, experienced believers who intentionally disciple men and women in their 20s and 30s. Spiritual fathers and mothers teach the next generation to walk with the Holy Spirit, pray, minister, and grow in character, then release them to carry it further.
